Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad (1165 – 1257) was a Syrian-born member of the Levantine Brotherhood of Assassins, and served as their Mentor from 1191 until his death in 1257. During his tenure as Mentor, Altaïr made several discoveries and inventions that greatly helped the Order’s progression, and his leadership saw to the spread of the Assassins’ influence in the Old World. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is a game published by Ubisoft and was developed by its subsidiary, Ubisoft Montreal. A direct sequel and follow-up to 2010’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Revelations is the fourth main installment of the series. A sequel for Revelations was announced in March 2012, entitled Assassin’s Creed III, and is due for release in October of the same year.
The gameplay system from Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood was the basis for Revelations, though Ezio’s free-running and combat skills had been upgraded with new features.
